HOW IT ALL BEGAN:
People often ask me how Bennett and I got started in the stair business and what is the key to our company's longevity? I tell them that my father, Daniel Capua, and my grandfather started this business after Dad completed his service in WWII. He sold his stair business in NY and came to CT in 1967. Bennett and I grew up in the trades, and what started out as summer jobs became careers. Both of our families (Bennett's father was a stone mason and a builder) had the same work philosophy that we also embrace. We are committed to the customer and we always to improve our products and service.
